Will a 2007 Wrangler Sahara hardtop fit a 2017 Sport Unlimited?

I recently purchased a used 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited 4 door with only the soft top. I couldn't pass up the price and figured I would get a hardtop for it later. Well, later has arrived and I have an opportunity to purchase a 2007 Wrangler Sahara 4 door with the black hardtop. The Jeep belonged to a ladies deceased husband and she is in the military about to be gone for a year. The Jeep appears to be in great condition with only 84k miles.
My question is will the 2007 hardtop fit my 2017 Wrangler Sport Unlimited...I can get the Jeep for less than the cost of a new hardtop alone. I called Jeep and the lady I chatted with said it was a fit but I would love to hear from so of you with "real world" experience.
I'm new here and I may have made this longer than it should be and I'm sorry for that, I just wanted everything to be clear.

There is a ten year span of possible incremental changes but the exterior body style has mostly been unchanged. Looking at aftermarket hard top fitment guides there seems to be a high probability that the 2007 hard top will fit your JK. Check out this reliable jeep parts source
