Desperately need a couple of 33x12.5x15 used tires so I can pass inspection. Just need to buy time till I can regear it and go to 35's

Can you borrow some 32/33s to get the inspection? Otherwise you end up selling them to get the 35s

@aggrex notice how much higher the rear is than the front? I put .75 spacers in the back and the front. Should I take out the rear spacers? I think one the hard top is back on it and gear in it , it will level out. It's got bunny hop in the rear right now I guess cuz I took everything out of it when I was jacking it up. BTW did this with a high lift Jack on a gravel driveway with Jack stands that were too short. Did some pretty sketchy stuff putting this kit on lol.

Probably want to let the lift/springs "settle" with the gear+ HT before making any more changes.

New member here. I have my first TJ and have worked a lot on it. I have most of it documented on my YouTube channel (FuturaForce).
I know I will probably get slammed over this but my jeep is a 97 2.5l no air.

Me and my son purchase it together as a project. I never imagined how much stuff it needed.

Here is a list of some of the things we have done so far. All things it needed when I bought it.
I got it because I love Jeeps and wanted to make vids for my Channel to document my progress.

    "Labor provided by me"
Repaired someone's bad install of Front brake calipers(Upside down on the wrong sides)
    Driver wheel hub
    Rear wheel cylinder
    Rear Brake shoes
    Wiper linkage repair
    Manifold
    Rear Diff rebuild 4.88
    Front diff rebuild 4.88
    Rebuild of double Cardan Joint
    New centering yoke
    Rear yoke
    Balanced front driveshaft
    Rear control arms
    Front track bar
    Drag link
    Removed 3" body lift
    Bed-lined inside of Tub
    New heater core
    New radiator
    Replace motor mount
    oil sending unit
    Tailgate hinge pin
    Rough Country seat covers
All 3 shift boots (Trans boot, lower boot and upper boot)
    Clockspring
OEM Steering wheel with airbag(They used aftermarket wheel)
    New passenger airbag with cover
    Painted dash
Removed and repaired roll cage and paint
Repaired both tumble seats and made my own bushings
Repaired broken rear seat tumble cable
    Painted the wheels
    New soft top
    New radio and speakers
    Door window to frame seal
Door surround to tub Mucket seal
    New front and rear bumpers
    New fan shroud
Flush mount round led tail lights
    Led dash light mod
Fuel tank 15 to 19 gal mod
    Door handles inside and outside
Windshield wiper switch(I put a wiper lever in that has the delay option)

There are some other small thing but you get the gist of it. I wanted a project to work on and man has this one ever been the project lol!

I have it in my Bodyshop now getting JJ (AKA Junky Jeep) ready for paint. Wish me luck!

Welcome @Futuraforce ...based off your description your TJ and long list of improvements deserves its own build thread. Should be a great read. Post a few pics of the TJ before the new paint job.

Thanks! Proud to be here. If anyone is interested I have almost everything documented on Youtube. Not here to promote Youtube though. I just love the Jeep community!

Mellings high volume oil pump, didn't help low pressure issue.

My 98' TJ got a complete exhaust replacement, it was in pretty rough shape and the manifold was cracked. Sounds great now and no more tapping coming from the bad manifold.

Old exhaust work is never fun from crumbling rusty bits and rusty fasteners but once the old system is off things get much better. I've installed complete aftermarket exhaust systems from both Walker and Bosal in the past from exhaust manifold>CAT>muffler. What brand replacement exhaust did you use?

I went with Crown which is offered by both Extreme Terrain and Quadratec. Painted the whole system with exhaust header paint before installation which was spot on.

This past week my 98' TJ got a new set of wheels and tires, 31x10.5x15 Pro Comp A/T on Pro Comp Series 51 wheels with a 4.5" back space. So much easier on the ears than the Goodyear Wrangler M/T.
Today I did a complete brake job front and rear, cleaned up the rotors, calibers and drums and gave them all a fresh coat of hi-temp paint. Next up after saving up some coin I'm going to install a Yukon Spin free hub kit and clean up all the surface rust that's on the frame and axle housings. Keeping the projects to a day or two so the wife doesn't get skeptical, my last restoration project lasted too many years to mention but is complete now.

Actually last weekend I installed the Barricade Trail Force HD rear bumper. Was pretty straight forward, did require 4 additional holes to be drilled and DID NOT require removing the gas tank as others have commented. Using a magnet as commented on in their video it was easily done. This week I'm going to rebuild the shifter tower, it suddenly developed a slight buzz like rattle. Haven't been able to find any info specifically as to how so this will have to be exploratory at best.
