I almost went with a ‘13+ JK but there’s just something about the TJs and the LJs that do it for me. I like the barebones raw and simple feel to it and the size of it more compared to the JKs. I appreciate JKs for what the they are but they’re just not for me.

Congratulations on the LJ! Getting hard to find a good TJ let alone the rarer LJ. Great color and some JK accessories may fit too.

I bought my college-aged daughter a ‘99 TJ, which she loves. Already changed the front LED’s to pink :burnrubber:

I did downsize her 35’s to 33’s so that she can be a little more stable. Winds up the 488’s a little though

She hates this photo as she was grungy from cleaning it out in my dumb shirt

Finally got it trailered out to Ole Miss for her. I didn’t want her driving CA to MS. Now she’s throwing some MS mud

First coat of Hot Rod black with sprayer.
    upload_2019-3-31_22-45-20.jpg

The problem with a lift is the looks of the fender wells. After sanding all that showed, I put a spray can of 3M truck bed liner on just the inner fender. Then I put two coats of Rustoleum grey primer on the frame. After an hour I mixed some Hot Rod black and sprayed both. It's the only thing I ever used spray on liner for that seems to have worked! Ideas?

I built a box for the rear cargo area. Fits up against the tailgate so if it's locked you can't access. Bolted to the floor using the seatbelt mount. Mount a cooler on top on vacation and realized I needed some kind of shelf so added a slide out.

I jumped the gun on top removal . Took it off last Saturday , it's rained everyday since. Gotta bite the bullet and buy me a Trex top for spring and fall

No joke I was just thinking about building one similar the other day. I’m a short guy so I think I can build something to be able to sleep in when I drive across the country. Place a thin mattress on top and I’m set.

I found this while google searching a little. They said the total length is 68”. I might be able to squeeze in there for a night or two. D936E406-B533-43CC-921A-98F0F0F9B0F1.jpgC76F9EF5-2EED-4E5B-86DB-A62E2FA39357.jpg

3 inch zone lift. Fox 2.0 shocks. 35 inch nitto ridge grapplers. Bushwacker flat fenders. No name steel bumpers front and back for now.
I'm jealous!! Its been raining too much here in Ohio. Plus the temps dont really allow for tops off with the kids being little. I'm ready for tops off weather for sure!! Your rig is lookin pretty damn good man.
