I have a tree air freshener that's "black ice" scent. LOL
I recently bought a 2001 grand cherokee 4.0. The speedometer don't work. AutoZone checked the dash code and it said wheel speed sensor. I replaced it with no luck on getting the speedometer working.
Also I was told my jeeps a quadra Trac. How can I tell what my Jeep is with no manual ?
Any input on either is much appreciated !

Did the code clear after you installed the new speed sensor?
    Are all your fuses good?
You can get manuals at Bishko... ( autobooksbishko.com ) if you are interested..

No the code did not clear afterwards. I think my next option is a transmission speed sensor ($29). I was told try speed sensor in transfer case but far as I know I don't have a transfer case bc it's a 2wd.

If it's 2wd you don't have Quadra Trac.
There may also be 2 sensors depending on what transmission you have.

Oh ok. The guy that did the body work said it was a quadra Trac but he said it wasn't today. Is there somewhere I can type in my Vin and find out what trans I have ? Thanks for all the help !

With the 4.0 you likely have the 42RE.
If the trans pan is square with a corner cut off, it's the 42RE.
