I’m grateful they gave me a loaner...but still this hasn’t been fun! Just a big pain in the ass and trying not to worry. Dealing with this since July.

After test driving the car still has a bit of an issue in the 60-65 mph range where it just seems to stutter (if that’s a proper description) where sometimes it rides smoothly through and other times is vibrating/shaking slightly. Dealership tried to say it was tire shimmy but tire place said tires were perfect....and it felt like it was drivetrain related. To me it feels like gas isn’t sparking right. But I don’t know. I’m at a standstill - it seems like after so many cycles and/or maybe miles - the car is noticing the issue and engine light was coming on and sensor codes thrown for Camshaft.

I’m thinking it’s time. Not sure if I have that option in Alabama....on a car with 91,000 purchased used/as is/no warranty

Just curious - did you keep getting engine light coming on and stalls happening after your wire harness replacement?

From what I remember it never stalled out on me. The CEL would come on and then it would run like a complete pile of sh!t for a little while and then it would smooth out. But this was in a 2008 chevy Silverado so the way the ECU's are configured between the 2 different brands of vehicles might differ. It did eventually stop doing all that nonsense after about 10,000 miles and lots and lots of cussing

This is disappointing because I hope I don’t have to go through too much more crap! I’ve been dealing with bullshit for 6 months now...and a lot of cussing

I believe it brotha!! I feel for ya. Hopefully something gets fixed soon. 6 months is too long to be working on a vehicle and no progress made.

Biggest issue (engine light, stalling, and P0334 codes) happening about 200-500 miles after each time they give it back. But yes - they tried to ignore the roughness at 60-70 and finally I got GM in it and he noticed it in first 5-10 miles.

also window malfunctioning isn’t always happening but everything seems to happen all around that same time. Short? Ground?

I can not believe this but - the dealership asked me if they could tear down my engine. I did not give approval. This is craziness...why would they have to tear into my engine over a problem with windows, door locks, and lights having a mind of their own and PCM programming bad!!??

What is the Chrysler help number? Any recommendations on how to proceed/handle this? I need to take in to a local non-dealership mechanic. The problem is - PCM and wire harness and everything else is all under warranty with dealership.

This is the customer service number. Maybe give them a shot and see what they say. If they dont help you out then I'd say its definitely time to lawyer up and sue the dealer for (1) selling you a shitty vehicle and (2) not doing their part to make it right by fixing it

I'm not entirely sure on that. Maybe one of the fellas here can help with that question. It's been a couple days now. Have you heard any news about what's going on? Try contacting chrysler?

I am going tomorrow to pick up the car. I told them the other day to not proceed with the tone ring. I’m about 95% sure I have a bad ground.

If Tone Ring in Camshaft is bad - will car PCM and or car act funny? Symptoms - Drives rough 60-70mph and Windows and door locks and lights going off/up and down at weird random spots.
They say it’s not a ground or wire issue...
