Question about PRND lights

    2020 Jeep Cherokee
    Yesterday I noticed when I start my 2020 Jeep Cherokee all the lights at the gear shift flash on. They go back off. Is this normal and I have just never noticed in the 4 years I have owned the car?

    After much searching I found that if you put use the emergency park it will turn off the lights. It did work, but I did have an issue getting the park to turn off at that point.
