Really...9 Years. Could only imagine the work, stress, and aggravating times you've had with her. But the end result is absolutely incredible. Always imagined I do some sort of build. A late 60s Chevy or a Mopar. Never happened for whatever reason. What was your first thought when you knew it was done? I like the obscure shit. Loll. (Holy crap bitch ....finally done with you) yeah.....been there. But I'm asking about your Jeep. Do you show it anywhere? You should.

Dang Ralmoho that’s very cool that’s even a few more years older than I was expecting. I was just thinking back in the 90s There’s a guy around here that has a 1948 I guess you say restored but it’s lifted with nice tires and a nice top but really pretty plain. Yours is nice and awesome job of detailing. I’ll be watching to see it on Barrett Jackson :fingerscrossed:

Thanks, Herb. She does have a new owner,a very happy ending for all,but I still can show her via sites where there is interest. My goal was to restore to what rolled out of Willys Overland in March 1943.
6.00 16 Firestones (I guess they'd be called pizza cutters?) on original 2-piece combat rims, painted Government 319 Olive Drab, called 'lusterless drab'...the hood numbers in lusterless blue,so as to be difficult to photograph.
Has folding rear seat with tirepump fastened to the underside, engine crankrod clamped in behind...
There are alot of wartime Wilys (MB) and Ford(GPW) jeeps restored. One of the first & original 4X4s.

Just would like to say. Ralph is the real deal. Him and I chatted in PM. And he knows his shit. I hope and I'm sure he will be an asset to our forum. I look forward to future posts Ralph. Please chime in when you can.
