Offgrid, this is the one that I use (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NLQAHS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and have never had a problem. It has worked on every vehicle I have plugged it in to. It is not the cheapest option but with 4.5 stars and over 9,000 reviews I felt it was a good buy. I have had it for over 2 years now.

Torque lite is free, but there is a pro version for $4.95. I use the free version and it has done fine, I am sure the pro offers more functionality but what exactly I can't say.

Awesome! I think I like it. I have been leery of purchasing one, because I didn't know anyone using them.

On Prerunner1982's recommendation I purchased BAFX Products 34t5 Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool for Android Devices to help me with my jeep builds and I love it. Soon after I got it I started having codes pop up on my 2010 Chevy (blaming it on prerunner by the way) and I was able to use it to diagnose and repair my truck without having to go ask my mechanic friends to hook me up. I also ran the Torque Lite app on my phone to remote connect to the scanner. It all works perfect. Now I hope to find an app that allows me to make changes similar to that of a superchips like turning off the low air pressure dummy light which is necessary when running bigger than OEM tires, etc. Maybe the Torque Professional app will give me these capabilities. Thanks Prerunner. Excited about my new find!
