How would one go about placing a value on a '78 J10 Golden Eagle ? I know I'll never get my money back but this is probably one of the finest J10's in existence. I took a rust free original GE and dumped a fortune into it and now I'm afraid to drive it.

There's nothing to base it off of that I can find. I could put it on ebay but I don't even know where to start the bidding.

I don't have to sell it but I have other projects like my new '78 CJ7 I'd rather have taking up space in my shop because I can drive it without fear. any advice welcome.

Nice gem of a jeep truck due to your restoration. IMO figure around a restored J10 and add 20% extra for the special edition. Post on ebay and if it doesn't meet your reserve it's still yours.

I have no idea how you would go about putting a value on a Jeep like that. @440sixpavk .In most cases, you can put a value on a "piece" based on previous going rates and sales based on Barrett Jackson sales, and other auctions. But you have a very rare and unique ride.
And I don't blame ya on being scared to drive it. So would I. But good luck with whatever you do with it.

I actually thought about taking it to Barrett but it would be risky. I might spend 5k to not sell it , or it might bring twice what I think it's worth. who knows, but J10's aren't a highly prized collector vehicle so I don't feel very confident. I may just put it on ebait and if it doesn't bring a good price I'll keep it isn't like I don't like it.
