    Beginning a frame up restoration with a 401 and t-18 tranny.
    I’m a new member from Northeast Georgia about to start a frame up restoration of a 1979 CJ-5. I’m pretty sure it started it’s life as a Golden Eagle. I’m doing a replica of the upgraded Hinkle CJ replacing the 304 V8 with a 401. It may take me a few years but I think it’ll be fun! I look forward to participating in this forum.

    Welcome @NorthGeorgiaHunter ... sounds like a neat project to follow. Post plenty of pics as someone may be able to confirm the Golden Eagle. If parts are hard to find for the 401 there is always the SBC
