2015 Renegade Not shift into gear

    2015 Renegade
    Started with a dead battery and the shifter locked in park. Did the shift release and was able to shift to Neutral only but will not shift into any other gears even with car turned on and running. Can only shift back into park then have to do the shifter release deal again. Only codes are Engine check and A/T. From online they say it's a Dealer Computer reset only and one blog said they wanted $1200 to do it. Help. Thank you
    PS: Surprised I couldn't find this issue in the Forum discussions for Renegade owners. Am I the first with this problem lol.
