1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Tailgate Hatch

    1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

    Will a 1988 Grand Wagoneer tailgate / hatch fit a 1987 Grand Wagoneer? I have a 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The rear tailgate hatch window will not go down, and there are 2 small dents in the back. I have seen a tailgate / hatch for sale for a 1988 Grand Wagoneer, does anyone know if the 88 hatch will fit on my 87? Thanks. Also does anyone do work close to North East Alabama? right now I am thinking paint and body, I am not looking for showroom quality, I just don't want to be embarrassed when I am driving down the road. Thanks.

    Based off some pics there doesn’t seem to be any differences between the ‘88 and ‘87 but ymmv. If your just after the window motor parts it’s probably okay. IMG_4271.jpg IMG_4269.jpg
