1972 Jeep CJ5

MOTIVATED TO SELL - $7500 OBO, Mosier, Oregon, made by Jeep Corporation and sold by AMC, 258 straight 6-cylinder, 3 speed, 2nd owner, owned since 1976, unknown mileage (probably around 125k), mostly original except for original items that did not work or last (cardboard glovebox and defrost cowling, window washer fluid in a bag, super soft suspension – really!)


Completed work = 2” lift with new springs, new wiring harness with fuse box, new engine mounts, new body bushings throughout, new gas tank, new tinted windshield, body work, paint (original color but paint has sunburned in places and the clearcoat has failed on horizontal surfaces), rhino lining on inside of tub and bumpers looks good, engine is not original to the vehicle but runs good, rebuilt original transmission (but still has some OEM issues), new defrost cowling, new glovebox, restored original seats, newer battery, electric window washer fluid pump, fender flares, awesome wheels and tires,


Comes with – brand new top, bikini top, heavy duty Jeep cover (covers from windshield back), rubber floor mats, new rebuilt Holly carburetor and intake/exhaust manifolds for planned replacement, new heater fan, lots of misc. parts including original instrument cluster


Known issues = fuel and temp gauges not working, alt light is on but it still charges the battery???, rear main seal leaks oil, misc. oil leeks, some rust, no working stereo/radio, parking brake never has worked
