Stock tires or Willys package for the winter snow?

    Better winter snow tires willys package or the stock tires. I hear mixed reviews. Don't want to waste all the money on the package. I'm pyrchasing my first jeep and I travel a lot! Thanks in advance!

    The BFG tires that are stock on a Willys are GREAT tires with good off-road traction. However, no mud tire is all that great on ICE and general winter driving. If you are going to be off-roading and/or snow wheeling, maybe consider the stock BFGs. Otherwise, get some good all terrains.

    I have a Sahara with the stock Bridgestone AT and didn't have any issues in the winter but they are definitely not as good offroad. If you will be primarily on the blacktop I would say try and find a set of take offs

    The Willys package comes with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires.
