Hesitating, stalling, sputtering

Hey everyone, I'm throwing a P0123 code, I've searched around the forum for solutions and so far i've changed the Tps, checked the wiring, and disconnected the clock spring. When I disconnect the clock spring and turn the jeep on it idles at like 2100rpm.

ANY suggestions are welcome!

This is a tough one... I saw this once before and needless to say I chased it for a bit. Most jeeps share powers from the pcm and mostly 5v powers.. with this being said it relies on the right part transferring the right voltage. The best way is to test the tps and wiring. If you have an airbag light most likely the problem in a bad clockspring and/or wiring in the column. I fixed A 98 Cherokee by replacing the clockspring with this problem. Also check wiring harness by the battery as it's prone to problems. I've found that oem tps work best on jeeps. Hope this helps

 

Thanks for your reply, I had only removed one connector from the clock spring. Once I removed both it worked fine. Unfortunately I dont have high beams or an air bag now, but who drives jeeps for the safety of it, amirite?
