Anyone running 15x7 with 0 offset?

    Hi all. New to the forum and to the Jeep community.

    Just got my first Wrangler and would like to know if I could run 15x7 zero offset with 33x10.5 on a '14 jku sport with Rubicon shocks/springs (no lift).

    Sorry if this has been asked before but all the info I find is regarding 15x8 with negative offsets.

    Wanting to run either grabber x3 vs DC extreme country vs interco TSL.

    Will it clear the front calipers?

    Will it rub at full flex when rock crawling?

    Will the tire stick out beyond the fender?

    Any experience with either tire and how you would match them up as far as offroad capability and on road comfort?

    Any info is appreciated and pics would be helpful.

    Few run15s because they don't fit a jku. You have to take your calipers to a machine shop and have the tops shaved. Smallest you can run is 16s. Most run 17x9.

    17x9 is two inches of increased risk of popping a bead, two less inches of flex; most, if not all, 17" mud terrains are 10 ply, which is too heavy for a Jeep, requires very low psi for flexing and driving in deep sand, rides like a brick on road, and sticking out beyond the fender causes broken mirrors.

    Why am I the odd guy here? For wanting to run a comfortable 6 ply that will float over sand at a safe 20psi and still be able to crawl rocks and dig into mud without breaking my mirrors?

    As offgrid said, 15's won't fit without grinding the brake caliper.

    The reason for the bigger wheel diameter is to fit bigger breaks. Stock tires are bigger making more work for the breaks so they needed to increase the rotor diameter and caliper size. My CJ has 37s on 15" wheels on stock calipers and rotors and I nearly panic every time I see Hard stopping on the freeway. I can't stop in an emergency so I give a lot of distance in front of me at high speeds. If I ever pulled a trailer I'd be toast. If you run 16x7s you'll only lose 1/2 in of squish, but gain a lot in stopping power. There are plenty of load range C's out there, but I fear like the 16.5in wheel the 16 is going to start disappearing.

    My experience has taught that a mud terrain is a poor choice for sand anyway. Mud terrain's are good for rocks, and......mud. Stronger sidewalls made for more puncture resistance to rocks, or mud covered tire pokers. For sand, an AT, in a C or D rating would be best. My opinion......

    This is a 15" I saw today on a Rubicon 4dr unlimited, with Dana 44s. The owner said no mods. So looks like a 15 does fit.

    Not all 15s will fit. I believe that wheel is a rarity. Test fit before you purchase.

    In case anyone else was wondering. 15x7x0 offset (4" backspace) does fit. Clears the caliper and fits flush with the fender.

    Now to decide on the DC extreme or the maxxis razr.

    Such a hard choice :/

    That does look great. I'm a big fan of simplicity and those wheels fit.
