Radiator replace or repair

    3.5" lift, 35" tires on 18"x12.5" Fuel Octane wheels, 4.88 ring/pinion both front/back, Smittybilt XRC front bumper with 9500 lb winch, Iron Cross rear bumper with tire carrier
    The radiator in my 2007 JK Unlimited has developed a pinhole leak, is it better/more cost effective to replace or repair? It seems that most parts are intended to be replaced these days vs the "good old days" when you repaired everything. Just wondering what the collective thought process is towards this repair. Thanks...

    Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
    I believe that you can find a new one cheaper than you can have one repaired.

    Please don't use stopleak. That usually causes more trouble down the road than it is worth.

    Thanks, I was leaning towards replacement since I can buy a new radiator for just over $100. Stopleak gums everything up, not even thinking in that direction. Thanks again...

    You might even get a few bucks back selling it for the aluminum at the scrap yard.

    True, guess that will depend on whether I have to put down a "core" deposit. I'll find that out real soon....
