Hi does anyone on the forum know how to fix the nose dive due to extra weight in the front of the jeep. I have an xrc metal bumper winch. I guess its about 300 pounds. I could use some help on this...

If your weight numbers are correct for the front XRC then theres the problem. Heavy metal bumper design coupled with a heavy winch and/or bull bar can overwhelm the stock springs causing sag and poor handling. One could install stronger springs but a bumper diet should be easier. I would test the issue with the XRC off to confirm. I think the XRC is 180 lb which is still quite hefty.

I found a short article about spring sag and weight written by the tech department at Teraflex. It states that you have to add to the lift what you are sagging. Basically if you want a 2.5 in lift, and the added weight of your bumper and winch are dropping you 1.5 inches, then you would want a 4 in lift. Read the article and see if you understand it the same way I do. You would probably do well with a 3-3.5 in lift.

K6 based on the article we Jeepers continuously add more and more weight to the JK and expect it to perform. I would consider a lighter bumper winch combo to avoid longer stiffer springs to accomodate 200-300 lbs out there upfront especially on a daily driver. Now if it was a spec-ed out special purpose vehicle driven on weekends that had to have these heavy components then it makes sense to me to upgrade the suspension. Just my 2 cents
