03 Jeep Liberty Sport hatch and glass help driving me crazy!

    Hello everyone, I am in some desperate need of some help with my Jeep. So it started with the back hatch just not opening, the glass would still open. After about 2 weeks of that now on my odometer glass pops up and my dome lights are constantly on. ( I had to remove the dome lights so I could drive at night ) . The truck thinkx the glass is not closed i promise it is. I have tried disconnecting the battery, still no luck! I also pulled the back panel off of my jeep wiggled some wires now the hAtch opens but still the problem with the glass. I also noticed this morning sitting in my Jeep while it was turned off the Jeep kept locking the back hatch, this doesn't seem normal! Please help can't afford Jeep dealership!

    Welcome! It could be the sensor for the rear hatch. Let.me do some searching....
