Rented a new Jeep Wrangler 4xe, less than 1100 miles on it, happened to me 3 times at stop lights in Seattle I was looking for other warnings and Each time it happened i notice my door wasnt closed all the way. Close the doors properly and put into park to reset, then to drive. It only happened when the red light indictor that a door was ajar.
So if the doors can be removed, there must be a work around on the wiring connection.

My 2024 Jeep Rubicon X 4xe with 15k miles fid something similar to me for the 1st time last night. I was running in electric and came to a stop. The jeep froze, but was still technically on. The only thing I noticed was that D was flashing on the shifter. I was frantic being stuck in the middle of the road on a busy street, so I quickly shifted up to park and back to drive and luckily I was back going again. Anyone had this happen? It was like the whole thing just locked up. I didn’t have any open door or seatbelt warnings before that either.
