Ok so the cruise control is not working. I can’t find any vacuum leaks any blown fuses. My question is if it was the bad clock spring would it affect anything else?

I should’ve went back and connected this to the post I made before, but since then I replaced the switch I have been messing with it sometime now before it would go off and come back on now I cannot get it to come back on whatsoever
