i purchased a new 2022 Gladiator. After a few months a front end shimmy developed. Hit a bump at over 40mph and the front end would vibrate. Got worse. I took it back to dealer. Service agent said they were known for this problem. The replaced parts under warranty. Service agent said they redesigned parts and problem was fixed.

Now at 28,000 the shimmy is back. I have an appointment next week at dealer for them to look at it.

I am annoyed, for over $50,000 for a new vehicle, to have this problem once let alone twice. Sometimes the shimmy is so bad I loose control of the vehicle! especially at highway speeds.

Is this normal? Is the problem limited to just Gladiators? or found on other vehicles?

    Thanks.

I think the problem would be to have a jeep that did not shimmy :anonymous:

To be honest, I would be taking it back parking in the front door!!

Totally unacceptable! Park that vehicle at the dealer and contact corporate. Document and organize all your records of work performed and parts replaced by the dealer and keep in mind your 3yr/36 warranty dates. The infamous “death wobble” or shimmy is typically prevalent with older vehicles with worn / damaged / misaligned suspension components.
