05 Liberty 3.7 no start/no crank/ front axle doesn’t spin

    Okay, no start, no crank. I’ve checked the starter relay and fuse, both are fine.
    Assuming it’s the starter i began removing it. When i try to get to the bolts securing the front drive shaft i find it doesn’t spin to allow access to all the bolts.

    I’m most likely in over my head with this job. Any advice is much appreciated!

    Going to assume you confirmed the battery (age/condition) and level of charge (lithium jump pak/jump) is good. Inspect battery cables +\- are in good shape. Just things I’d do before jumping to the starter.

    Correct. Battery and cables are good. My plan is to have the starter bench tested before purchasing a new one.
    Have to get it off first…
