Back to the Jeeps 20 years later

Hello all,
Our jeeps have been on the back burner for the last 20 years. Children, building houses and real responsibilities have forced them to sit in storage. My 17 year old daughter expressed interest in “one of those old keeps out back” this spring so we drug out the 1966 cj5. Long story short, got the engine running, rebuilt transfer case/ transmission/ front axle, everything disassembled, sandblasted, macropoxy, sprayed the body with bed liner, put antique tags on and now it’s too cold to drive. Got a few runs in to town in plus I take it for a rip on days above 50. Feels good to be back. On to #2. The 82 has been stashed mostly disassembled since a bad side flop in 2004. I should be starting rebuild in the spring.
