Here is my dilemma. Can someone help me? 2016 JC Latitude. I put it on my own ODB to see. Says it might be Steering angle sensor. Just decided to come on when I got in to go somewhere today. Immediately went back home. And parked it. What's the Fix?
Little back ground. Oil change. Few weeks ago. New battery few weeks ago. All bren good till this. Tires were relaxed back in November 2023. Will upload photos

Steel front bumper, all terrain aggressive tires, side step rails, class 4 receiver with dual American flag mounts, roof rack, 10 LED light bars, rock lights, master control switch board, American flag decals, 2 inch lift, 2 inch spacers, slotted rotors.
The code U0428 indicates that there was Implausible data received from the steering angle sensor module and it can be set due to any of the following,Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Fault Code setting.Electronic Power Steering (EPS) DTC due to a failing steering angle sensor.Mismatched Tire(s)The common cause is usually a failing steering angle sensor if there are no other codes in any other module and the tires are matched.

The U0428 may be related to the stiff steering fix below. Clean & snug all ground terminals listed. Clean battery terminals if needed. Make sure that all wiring & connectors are in good shape. Make sure that all fuses & relays are fully seated.

    Also, but highly unlikely!

    PROBABLE CAUSES

    -Malfunction of CAN bus line
    -Malfunction of steering wheel sensor
    -Malfunction of PHEV-ECU

    DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

    1.M.U.T.-III CAN bus diagnostics.
2.M.U.T.-III service data (Item No.333: Steering angle.
-If defective, replace the steering wheel sensor.
3.Check whether the diagnosis code is stored again
-If the diagnosis code is stored, replace the PHEV-ECU.
