    Have 2007 JK Wrangler just turned 100k+700 miles now with age related issues. Looking for recommended reliable mechanic/shop. Need AC evap and heat core replaced, and other items on list for R&R too.

    Might want to state your location in case someone can share a local shop they have used that does decent work at reasonable prices. Labor expenses for AC work or heat core replacement tend to be quite spendy so be prepared. DIY is not for everybody but it could be one of the lower cost options.

    Location: north of Fort Worth TX up I35W just South of Denton. Yep I’ve been $ $hocked, but understand its extensive labor to replace evap and heater cores. Checking options to assist in decision.
