Anyway to lower running boards about 2 inches?

 

Lowering anything on a jeep goes against the grain if the jeep is to be used for off-road adventures. To lower the running boards post a pic of how they are attached. Generally a 2" spacer or brackets will be needed as long as longer bolts.

 

This one used on road only,paved or dirt,Cost too much to put in woods,rocks,etc.

And while I can appreciate one's lack of desire for pin stripes and other such customization of new Jeeps, you do get over it. I've always thought that it should be a felony to purchase an off road capable vehicle and not use it for that endeavor. In the same venue, buying something like a Wrangle with no intent to use it for what it was presumably designed for is just a bad decision. Just about every other vehicle sold will perform better in those other environments.

Ahhh,but the POS JK was sold last summer and replaced with what I sincerely hope is something with good road manners and more important, actually reliable: a Toyota RAV4. I also have a GMC 2500 HD. So now the Jeeps are sort of like the RZR 900 Trail-----
