    Hello everyone,
    This is my first post.
I would like to thank the entire community and this forum for welcoming me. My original language is French. I will do my best to make my English correct!
    I had a 1973 AMC 360 engine rebuilt.
All engine section parts are new or rebuilt. Except the distributor.
the first start went well and several times thereafter.
    but I couldn't get a right timing.
I therefore changed the old distributor (prestolite) for a new electronic Pertronix.
And it does not started since. I no longer have spark (fire) at the plug.
i got spark jump on the coil.(I have a video but I think this type of file is not accepted.)
I can't put the old distributor back because unfortunately I lost a part.
Now i have three coil. two new and the original one and all three test good.
I returned the new distributor thinking it was defective but nothing happened.
I also changed again the wires going to the spark plugs, still the same problem.
I did all the tests possible, I think.
TDC wtih cylinder #1 is correct, I checked and redid it several times
Two mechanics came and talked to me about the coil, the distributor, checking the grounds and wires but I had already do all this.
    In short, I'm lost.
I wonder if the problem could come from the old Ignition Module.
If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance, Mario.
