    Jeep Grand Cherokee: My 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Orvis drivers side
    Seat memory vertical movement no longer works.

    I have been hunting parts( gear, motor, whole seat track) but not finding anything. Anyone have any suggestions?

    This is a total WAG but I had a 2006 Charger that the sunroof wasn't closing properly. It turned out that I had to reset the sensors by having my wife close it while I pulled the fuse.
    After that, I never had another problem.

    Long story short, you may want to search for resetting the power seat.

    Worth a shot.....
