Spare Tire need lock

    Hello!
    just bought used 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, need be able to lock spare tire, however, no lugs in bracket, just large bolt with handles to tighten spare to back, does show small hole that I might use for small cable lock? any suggestions? will try to attach pictureSpare tire holder1.jpg

    The hole and the slot next to it looks like the previous owner may have been using a padlock to lock the handle from spinning. I can't tell how big the hole and slot are without anything for reference. Even a cheap padlock is better then nothing. The goal is to make it harder for them to steal your spare then the next guys. Crooks are opportunistic, they go for whatever is quick, easy and will draw the least amount of attention.
