    That solved the rattles in the Kayline tire carrier. It would have been a 15 minute job had not it needed those spacers. Those turned into an hour whittling job on the lathe. The bump stops were purchased for my former JK. Then I had them on my 3B for a bit before I came up with a better engineering solution for it. So they were just taking up space on the bench.

    Of course we had to take it for a test run. All of these are on our own place, some of the Forest Service easement road that runs though our place and found a good home.

    Not enough that it makes ANY money. I suppose it could be clearcut but I'm sure I would hate every minute of the rest of my life. 1/2 of the place my paternal grandmother bought in 1928, the other half my wife and I bought in the mid 80's. For decades, that was a very bad investment but it kept any additional houses away. It abuts Forest Service property for 1.5 miles but as the saying goes, you can't eat the scenery. But I do enjoy looking at it.
