Going to replace seals in my 2012 JK freedom top. pretty Stright forward. there are plenty of videos out there433142051_7308774012521643_1781093193729006588_n.jpg . They do not address the rubber tubes that come with the seal kit. Anyone know if these are needed or where they may go?

My best guess for the rubber tubes: to be added to the new/old seals to address any future or potential leaks (air/water) due to areas of poor sealing with the freedom top seals either from age, wear, damage or irregular surfaces.
I haven't changed my JK freedom top seals yet. I try to keep the seals clean and put rubber conditioner on them occasionally. Had a leak at one time but it has stopped. I'd start by laying out the seals from the replacement kit that mirror the old seals before they are removed and working on one top at a time.

Thanks for the reply. Thats my plan. I even called a couple vendors, and they were not sure.
