Hey, guys. Last night some a**hole tried to steal my gas using a garden hose. Now it’s stuck. Does anyone know how to get it out? I have a 2017 Renegade. I really appreciate it. I’m pretty mad at Jeep for even allowing a little bit of hose to get in there and causing this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming the male end (threaded) of the garden hose was forced into the gas fill port. Some gas fill ports have a spring-loaded door and thats probably where the threaded section is stuck. Not Jeeps fault in design as that could happen on any brand as all gas fill ports are designed to prevent idiotic diesel fuel fillups. Couple things to try: lube the area with some lubricant and twist/wiggle/pull the hose out as much as possible (this will likely break that spring-loaded door). If you can see the threaded end cut a small section of the hose near the metal threads to try getting a plier in there to bend the metal end followed by more twist/wiggle/pull.
On some vehicles the gas fill port leads to a replaceable long metal pipe (under the vehicle) that enters the fuel tank. If you can remove that metal pipe you might be able to pull the hose through then reinstall the metal pipe.
I'd avoid cutting metal as debris will enter the tank.
Good luck and let us know how this is resolved.......

It was just a 1/2” cut hose. Inside the filler tube is a check valve about two or three inches down. That is what was holding the hose. I was able to open the valve and pull the hose out. Interestingly, the hose was deep enough down to siphon the gas so I must have scared him away when I went out to go to work. But, I’m pretty angry that this capless filler allowed a hose to go down it in the first place. I was under the impression that it was not possible. Hence the capless feature.

So, I called Mopar and got customer service. But they said that they don’t have anyone who could answer my question of why a hose was able to be put in the filler of a capless gas filler. She suggested calling a dealership and asking for a technician. I’ll try that but I don’t expect much from them either.
