I recently purchased this fantastic 1967 CJ5. Dauntless 225, 488 gears with a Warn overdrive, GM steering conversion, Warn winch, Kayline spare/can rack, original Kayline top. It was owned by a meticulous machinist for 53 years. It is awesome!

Wow, that looks super nice. Not often you come across a survivor of that quality, especially a Jeep, most were road hard and put away wet. :burnrubber:

I purchased the near twin of that last Wednesday. 68 CJ 5, 225/T90 (yes, the T86AA was swapped out), 4" index D18, 4.88 gears, Warn OD, Kayline rear tire/jerry can carrier, HF 8k winch, and Bestop Super Top. It also came with a Kelly hard top. Much more patina (Empire Blue) than yours but it is going to stay that way. The previous owner went through most of it but the steering stills needs some attention. I have all the parts to install a Saginaw left over from my 3B project. The HF winch is going to get replaced by a Warn, either the 5721 or the 9.5XP that are sitting on the garage floor. Sort of leaning towards the former with an adapted 8274-50 motor.

I also have a 67 with the 225/T86AA/D18 and 4.88 gears. That too has a Warn overdrive and presently has a Belleview 6000 winch, along with a still nice Whitco Top. It is also Empire Blue and I purchased it new-------

I used a Corvette C3 box and a Flaming River tilt column in my 3B. That also works well. A few things have changed in the cockpit since that photo was taken in 2009.
