98 TJ looking for a hood that allows heat the escape.

    I have a 383 SBC Stroker in my TJ...

Full hood, or vents. Do not want a nasty looking pop riveted scoop / surface mounted band aid looking patch.

    Understand you don't like the hood louver options but if done right and painted to match or contrast they are functional. Unlike the JK jeeps the brands like AEV or DV8 make some $$$ vented hoods. Either way painting the final product will be needed.

    Prop hood against a berm. 16 rounds of 10mm should fix it. Seriously louvers or a scoop are the best fix for this. 383's make for really excellent Jeep engines. Ran one in my 55 CJ 3B for about 3 1/2 decades. A relatively short duration high lift roller cam really complements that long stroke.
