I have a ‘64 CJ5 that I’m currently building. I’ve had it for 12 yrs it runs and drives, but now I’m getting it the way I want it. I’m putting 33” tires on 15” wheels. I’m not a fan of the run of the mill fender flares that I see on CJ’s, I like more aggressive ones (bushwhacker makes cool ones) , but I’ve never seen them on a cj. If anyone runs anything like these if you’d show off some pictures I’d appreciate it. Thanks.

I have full size truck axles on my CJ. That, and 35x12.50s on 10" wide wheels. Talk about needing big flairs...
Plans are to use trailer fenders on the rear, and maybe double up some front fenders...
Trailer fenders came yesterday. Perfect width to cover the whole tire.
Have the fronts already, but I can't do that kind of bodywork, so they'll go to a welder/body shop.

Which trailer fenders did you get? I was looking at those too for the butt of my 3B. At 57" WMS/WMS, my axles are more or less wide track CJ width. I think I'm just going to make aluminum front fenders with a flange to mount some rubber belting on the outside..

Don't remember without looking back through my e-mail, but they're from trailerfenders.com 10" wide and I think 35" across... 16 ga steel.

I order these a couple days back.

Those should fit the rear wheel openings of all the CJ's. At least all the early ones-2A through CJ 5-6.

I'm running nominal 57" width axles and need about 6" wide flares which I think the above will trim to pretty easily. I also wanted poly so that they will withstand a few trail hits with little damage.
