I’m needing some help w/my ‘89 YJ w/2.5 L engine. My engine quit all of a sudden. I’ve changed the coil, no luck. Doesn’t seem to be getting fuel to the carb. I hooked a small battery to the wires to the fuel pump and it runs but still no firing. The engine turns over but won’t fire even with starting fluid down the carb.
    Any suggestions?

Welcome @Bubba51 …need fuel spark and O2 so some ideas: check fuel filter, spark plugs, wires. Don’t remember if you have electronic ignition.

    Thanks for the reply.
I just don’t understand not having spark has to do with not getting fuel to the carb.
