No, But try add some Marvel Mystery Oil next oil change. I have been using if for 50 years in every thing I own. Can't32602593_1664892756909825_8191468013271121920_n.jpg hurt.

5.7 V8 with Whipple Supercharger, TH350 w/B&M Shifter, NP205 TC, Dana 60 front 4.56, GM 14 bolt 10.5 rear 4.56, 4 wheel discs, Bilstein shocks, 6" lift on 37's, Autometer gauges, all led lighting and a few other things.
Ticking noise can be caused by a bad lash adjuster (hydraulic self adjusting lifter) or a bad rocker. They're not solid lifters (tappets) and there's no manual lash adjustment on them. Not uncommon in the 3.6L. Sometimes lash adjuster noise will go away with fresh oil and filter (or a little Marvel Mystery Oil). Low oil pressure can make them tick and dirty oil can clog the adjuster. Worn rockers are also pretty common. Bad rocker can cause excessive wear on it's lifter, or rocker wear from bad lifter. They're easy to change once you finally get to them, so I'd change them as a set while you're in there.

Thanks. It was a rocker failure. Having new lifters and rockers.
