Emergency Brake Adjustment JK Wrangler

    How hard is to adjust EM. Brake 2012 JK WRANGLER !!! Do I need to pull caliper and rotors ??

    @tomrr - it’s quite a simple mechanism, Tom, but how much you have to do totally depends on whether the adjuster is seized up. If it is, and it could be given your Jeep’s age, you’ll need to disassemble everything to get it out of there and cleaned up, moving and lubed. I did mine on my 2011 last winter, but I ended up replacing everything for the rear brakes anyway. It’s kind of a domino effect. In my case I broke a seized caliber pin on one side, and that was the start of replacing everything. Sure, I could have patched it up, but I thought I may as well fix it right. Fortunately, the e brake cables, and the links were good, so it wasn’t too bad that way. Good luck.
