Help with slight wetting leak

    2010 Wrangler sport unlimited, silver 4 door, hardtop
    been replacing my clutch components, realized I, had a slight leak. OK: where the front short axle housing goes into the front differential gear housing, is where the leak is. It's not a drip leak, just a slight wetting leak. Even so somethings wrong. any one had a problem, like that. Next question is it weldable, the axle house look metal, but the differential housing look more like cast. help,help. The axle housing is weldable, just don't know bout the diff housing
