So back to business on Brutus and life.

I think the only thing I've done lately is the Procomp headlights I picked up from 4WP. I don't do a lot of night driving but sure wish I had done this mod long ago. Brightness and beam pattern are excellent

Several wheeling trips coming up so hopefully my feed will be full of Jeeping pics.

See you guys on the trails!

July 6, 7 & 8 was the annual Crawl4Christ event at Disney, OK. The '18 was in the shop so we drove my '14.

Here's a few pics from Saturday.

    Where in MO are you?

We'll be in MO later this year for ROCK THE OZARKS, September 28, 29 & 30 at SMORR.

We'll also be in AR for the fall back country overland trip in October.

You might be closer to Disney than me :)

Last year we met in Cass, AR then popped out the second day at Oark to get some pie at the Oark Cafe.
They haven't announced the plans for this years ride, only that it will be a "Base camp style backcountry trip"
We do one every spring and fall, I think this will be #4 for us although the wife missed the last one due to hip surgery.

If you wouldn’t mind let me know the details when you find out. That sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Yea Disney isn’t that far away. I probable should go more than I do.

Here's a link to the FB event for ROCK THE OZARKS at SMORR Sep 28 – Sep 30 and a link to SMORR http://www.smorr.net/
SMORR is a great facility. Our first year we stayed in a hotel about 30 minutes away because the wife is a bit spoiled :) after she saw the facility she wanted to camp the next time. Clean showers and restrooms. If I remember correctly there are two Jeep badge of honor trails there (Pee Wee Crossing and Guard Rail)

Our last trip to Disney didn't go very well :) Passenger rear axle shaft broke on the first ledge, so we spent the rest of the day limping along in 1 wheel drive. Probably not the best idea....

Here's a few pics of the day:

This winter I plan on doing a junkyard one ton axle build. I needed new tires so I went ahead and stepped up to 40s in preparation.
Had our first trail ride with the new tires and they did great.

The wife drove quite a bit on this trip, she knocked out two 4 rated trails:

In a couple of weeks we'll take both Jeeps to the Ozark National Forest for a 3 day overland trek.

How do you like the Falcon 3.3 vs the Fox 2.0?

Much, much better. The FOX were on the firm side, the 3.3 on firm handle as well but are still a better ride. Flipping a switch and going to soft is great for off road AND driving my parents around :)

Well crap! I was hoping you’d say it was a mistake. I have Fox 2.0 with remote reservoirs up front and Procomp Explorers in the rear (bought the Jeep that way), which I was going to replace with Fox. But now you have me thinking that maybe I should just go Flacon all around since I already need to upgrade the rears...

I'm a couple of years behind on the project, but the 1 ton swap is underway.
    2005 Ford Superduty Front
    2001 Chevy 14 bolt rear
Artec Apex truss and high steer kit
Core 4x4 control arms and track bars, in white
    RPM Steering aluminum steering
Powerstop brake kit on all 4 corners, yellow
New wheels, custom powder coated white

    VKS Fab rock rails
    And a buncha other stuff.....

Hopefully have it wrapped up this fall.
