Ok so I'm tired of people having to squeeze into the back seat of my 2 door wrangler so I'm trying to modify the seats to move foward further than they do stock.

My question is how do i remove these 2 pieces? I'm not sure of the part names but i included a picture

Depends on what you are trying to do. You can take the tracks off the brackets (2 bolts in the rear set inside the track (remove) then slide the tracks all the way back and remove the (2 front bolts set in the track) your done.

My thoughts are to find a CJ seat bracket and the whole seat will flip forward, but you will lose the slider tracks. So no leg room adjustment. I tried installing slider tracks on the passenger seat brackets of my CJ but it set the passenger up too high.

Did the same on my YJ but your idea might just get done what he wants if the bolt pattern is the same.

bolt pattern was just slightly off. Had to drill new holes in the back of the brackets on my CJ.

Thabks for the replies guys but i think your misunderstanding what im trying to disassemble

I want to remove the part that slides from the track. It only slides so far foward and then something stops it even though there is more clearance. I want to remove the stopper in order to gain more clearance

Sorry I've never tried to do that. I would assume that there is some type of tab that you'll have to grind off. Not sure it is a good idea.

I would remove the slide brackets from the mounts and see where you can get a good look at what you're doing. Good luck.

On the bottom side off my bracket there is this little tab sticking out preventing my seat from coming forward anymore.20170205_102049.jpg
