Hi guys! I'm from Oxford Ms and am a Captain at the Oxford Fire Dept. I have always loved Jeeps but for some reason always purchased toys other than a Jeep until 2 years ago and man have I wasted a bunch of life not enjoying a Jeep. I've got a 89 YJ and am slowly but surely getting things the way I want them. Up to this point I've added tires and wheels but next week I'm adding front and rear tube bumpers, a warn 8000 lb winch, new fender flares and possibly a small lift. Anyway I'm glad I found this forum and will post some pics below of the progress of my Jeep!

Had to leave it with the shop today due to weather so he's going to finish it up this weekend. I ready to get it all hooked up and ready to go I just got a 20,000 lb snatch block , two 6 ft tree straps and one 16 ft tree straps. I have a high lift jack and a bunch of heavy duty schackles, shovels, axe, & some plywood pieces for Jack stability. Any other ideas to add to the recovery kit?

3 inch zone lift. Fox 2.0 shocks. 35 inch nitto ridge grapplers. Bushwacker flat fenders. No name steel bumpers front and back for now.
They make a hilift bottom plate. I saw them at Tractor Supply. They might sell them at other farm and ranch type stores as well. Pretty cheap and you don't have to worry about the pieces of plywood breaking and/or rotting away after they get wet and have a lot of weight on them over time.
