    I have a 1996 grand Cherokee.
I've had the engine rebuilt, different tranny, it's been completely gone thru.
However, due to covid happening I am now mostly retired, and cannot afford to get the hood repainted at this time. Is there anything I can use on the hood to stop further peeling for now?

Welcome @Rosewood7k ...when the paint starts peeling there is not much I can think of that would slow down the process. Perhaps some clear satin rattle can spray to close up the breaks in the paint.
