Tracking down the famous ABS/Traction lights

Howdy,
gravel road, slowed to go over some pot-holes, the christmas tree effect on the dash and the ABS and Traction lights came on, probably all of 15mph.
Now no cruise, or ABS, hill start flashes, ABS and ECS are always lit.
Went to auto zone to read the codes, dip-sht told me they don't have the code reader for ABS, (Have to ask for the "loaner", found that out from reading the forums after doing the wrong side) replaced the right front because the TPMS is out on the right front.
lights still on, went back and got the good code reader, CODES:C2102, C2100, C100A.
so replaced the front left sensor and lights are still on. Taking it back to read the codes again after I check the wheel bearing on the front left.
Anyone else with these same sets of circumstances? If the wiring between the sensor and the brain is bad, how do you check/fix that? THIA

 

just happened to me 2 weeks ago. dashboard lit up and good thing I was close to home. Limped home and researched the problem. It is most probably the same as your issue. It's a speed sensor gone bad. Have your local mechanic pull the codes and it will tell you which tire sensor is causing the problem. Check out YOUTUBE for specific instructions on replacing the wheel speed sensor if you plan on doing it yourself. The sensors themselves are $30-40.
