New to me 2015 JK 2 door. Nav system not working at all.

    When I bought the jeep, I was aware NAV system was not working and negotiated a discount. Not having a working NAV system is not critical as I use WAZE just fine. But if there is a solution that doesn't break the bank, I'm open to it. If it matters, I live just south of Boston Ma

    Maybe the dealer can perform a software update on the NAV system for a nominal fee or the system is defective (water damage?)

    paid cash for it.
    I use Waze and google maps as well, but a nav system can be convenient, so I’d be tempted to get it working, why not? @aggrex suggestion is definitely step 1, but if the system is simply non functional, I’d find one on Craig’s list, kijiji, or in a junk yard.
