There are few feelings better than the soft air and and sounds and smells of nature from being off road in an open Jeep! But one practical aspect is keeping the window zippers, especially the rear window zipper free from grit and dust so that they operate smoothly when the time comes to put the top back up. The aesthetic appearance of having the top bundled up and tucked away is also a bonus. For these reasons, in anticipation of the warm days ahead, I recently bought a soft top boot cover and installed it on my project JK. Perfect!
I read the reviews of several of the brands on the market, which generally aren't stellar. Mostly, reviewers report flimsy construction and tight fitment resulting inevitably in premature failure of these covers. The one exception was USA maker JTOPSUSA, which seems to be the only one who has it right. I'm happy to report that they do have it right, and they make a very high quality, premium product that works perfectly. After my experience with this item, I wouldn't hesitate in ordering any of their accessories for my JK. They obviously take pride in their products, and it goes to show that high quality stuff can still be made in North America.

Boot cover looks like it will do a great job. In my area the spring weather will bring the annual humongous pollen clouds that pepper the entire Jeep so it’s best to keep the hardtop on until this pollen cloud goes away.

Yeah, this Jeep is not a daily driver so it stays in the garage until it’s a nice day for a run somewhere.
