Installed a set of KC Cyclone Under Hood lights. Ran the wires through the hood. KC lights come with protective wire wrap, wire harness and switch. Used rivet nutserts to bolt the lights onto the hood taking extra precautions not to drill through the hood. 4F61DBA3-E537-496D-A0FD-9C1377266727.jpg

Gonna add my Jeeps name to my hood finally and wanted to ask. Is there a specific decal for cars that won’t degrade or be difficult to remove if I ever need to?

Looking at using "Oracle 651" Vinyl for the decal.

What do you guys think of “Mud Max” for Jeep name?

Edit: don’t think I like this anymore. Still looking for a name. Open to suggestions?

Went on an unplanned trail ride to rescue a fellow Jeeper that was stuck yesterday. Now I gotta wash it again before this weekends camping trip!

Not my jeep but two of my friends. Replaced rear upper control arm brackets on 2015 jk. And replaced rear shock axle mounts on 1995 yj. A good 1-1/2 days work done and now time to fabricate a couple tow bars.

After reviewing several aftermarket JK tail lights I took advantage of the 10% off a few days ago and selected the simple OEM-look Quadratec LED tail lights. The main goal for the upgrade was to have the instant-on LED brake lights for added safety. The plug and play QT was super ez to install and included the resistors needed to eliminate hyper flash or other issues since the JK uses one bulb for tail, brake and turn. Took more time to clean off the dust and debris than installing the tail lights. One big tip: do NOT try to over-tighten the mounting screws and the inner pair of screws are different than the other pair.

Few more LED goodness. Gets rid of the dull yellow glow for brighter bright light. Little touch goes a long way. Bulbs were a bit tough to get in and out due to the angle. Nearly any T10 LED bulb will work for 168/194/etc. the cover came off without any tools. 1AADDCE1-90C4-4C24-8119-43D176999BB0.jpg1D669BBC-3B5D-43B7-BCF4-BF87F44D7E4E.jpg
