I was given brand new. 255 75/R17 tires
    I have 245 65/R17 on it now
Will the new tires be ok on these rims and will it rub on wheel well?
Thought I’d ask before I go and measure wheel turned all the way.
Thanks for your help to a new member

    Hello Paul, welcome from Oklahoma.
The tire would be 1.3" closer to the fender, suspension, etc. It doesn't sound like much but it could cause some issues.
I am not familiar with 2010 Grand Cherokees, but a small spacer lift or something may not be a bad idea.
Hopefully someone with more experience with Grand Cherokees will chime in.

    Thank you Jon,
I’m more worried about the width . It has the clearance for the height difference . But a half inch isn’t much diff

If the concern is only with the width of the new tire, wheel spacers can correct the problem. Just use quality hub-centric bolt-on wheel spacers.
