I have a 93 Wrangler yj with a 4 cylinder and I need a new transmission. So I was thinking of an engine upgrade when I get new tranny but what tranny fits a 4.0 6 cylinder?

I say go find you a wrecked YJ or someone who is parting it out and buy the whole setup for under $1K. I bet if you look hard enough you could find it all (engine, tranny, and Tcase) for close to $500. You may also need driveshafts, so grab those too from whoever you buy the package from. You could even switch to an automatic if you want since youre doing the switch. I see lots of fun in your near future!
